You know that the economy is in a bad way when people are so happy to receive a job offer that it’s basically the same as getting a marriage proposal. After receiving an offer for her «perfect job,» Benita Abraham of Long Beach, California, decided to announce it to the world. The best way to go about that? She had a photoshoot with the contract they sent her…
Abraham took to Facebook to break the news to friends and family: «I finally found my soulmate, my perfect match, my boo. After 7 long months, I found the perfect job with a company that truly cares about its employees and one I will learn so much from.»
Abraham told WGNTV that after being unemployed for seven months she was really excited to make the big announcement. So, she wanted to do something big.
The 37-year-old secured a job in health administration after the long search and describes it as the «perfect match,» so she was understandably excited.
The photos have been shared nearly 4,000 times since they were posted over the weekend, and people seem to be loving them.
«Love it. Absolutely love it. The best photo shoot ever. Congrats,» one friend writes.
While another asks: «Where are you planning on registering? I suggest Staples or Office Depot!»
I’d probably be pretty excited too.
She even got some of her new coworkers involved…
Greatest team building exercise in history.
